St. Elizabeth
Roman Catholic Parish
St. Elizabeth Music Ministries

St. Elizabeth Parish is supported by music accompaniment at most Masses as well as for special feast days and special parish liturgical events. The music ministry is open to all members of the parish regardless of musical training or musical ability.  Our ministry consists of dedicated parishioners who love the church and the music ministry. We encourage members of all ages to join us.

St. Elizabeth Adult Choir

The St. Elizabeth Adult Choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. liturgy each Sunday as well as for special feasts and parish liturgical events throughout the year.  The Choir is comprised of approximately 25-30 members and sings in the traditional Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass harmonies.  The musical experience of our members ranges from a simple love of singing to accomplished vocalists and musicians. The ability to read music is not required.  Accompaniment is by organ and piano as well as trumpet, violin, and tympani for special occasions.  Our repertoire includes traditional, classical, and contemporary music.

We always welcome new choir members and instrumentalists.  If you love to sing and love the church, please consider joining us!  For further information, please contact Brian Wasilewski, Director, or the rectory office.

Cantor / Psalmist

The Cantor leads the congregation in song at all masses with music accompaniment as well as funerals and special parish feasts and liturgical events.  The main role of the Cantor is to proclaim God’s Word through the singing of the Psalm.  The Cantor also leads the people in song during the Mass.  In addition to these requirements, the Cantor also enhances the many wedding ceremonies and liturgies celebrated at St. Elizabeth Parish.   The Cantor is also responsible for meeting with couples planning to be married at St. Elizabeth and guiding them through the appropriate musical selections for their wedding ceremony.  For further information please contact Regina Tyler at the rectory office.

St. Elizabeth Children's Choir

The children’s choir sings at the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve and for other special Masses or events throughout the year including a Christmas Pageant in December of each year.  The choir is under the direction of Ms. Donna Cleary and is accompanied by Cindy DeGhetto or Brian Wasilewski on organ and piano.
