Description of the Organization: The Junior Youth Group of St. Elizabeth’s parish is a youth oriented group for any child in the parish or school in the 7th or 8th grade who wishes to participate. Through monthly activities, the Junior Youth group engages in social events as well as meaningful service projects to help bring an awareness to the membership of the parish’s needs. The Junior Youth Group also recognizes a willingness and openness for a solid prayer foundation, through attendance at various parish liturgies throughout the year. Some of the various activities planned for the 2003/2004 school year are: Brandywine River Float, Hayride/Corn Maize, Bowling day, Advent Prayer Service/Social, Snow Tubing, Safety Night/Ice Cream Social, Living Stations of the Cross during Lent, and Hershey Park. Most, if not all of these social events also contain a proponent of service to the wider community, namely, donations to the parish Outreach pantry or monetary donation to a local Catholic Charitable organization.
